A few weeks ago (July 20-23, 2011), Michelle Libby, Cayuga Sustainable Hospitality's Sustainability Director and Andres Soley, Lapa Rios's Sustainability Manager attended the 3rd International Travelers' Philanthropy Conference in Costa Rica. Andres presented at the conference about the philanthropy programs at Lapa Rios and how we involve our Staff and Guests on these programs.
His presentation title was “ Synergies For Development: Our Guests – Our Community”. It was a productive and meaningful conference and by learning and collaborating with others, we are able to spread our positive message of sustainable living and tourism.
