Beach Cleanup!

On Sunday August 7, we participated in a beach cleanup in conjunction with different people and businesses in the community, such as El Remanso, Bosque del Cabo, Luna Lodge, Finca Exotica, Osa Conservation, ASCONA, ACOSA, MINAET among others. The idea was to clean all the beach areas from "Germany" - Rio Cacao (2 milles from Lapa Rios going towards Puerto Jiménez) to La Leona – Carate (Border of the Corcovado National Park, 15 milles from the hotel going to the Park).

We formed several groups who took charge of specific areas, and in our case, our group was in charge of cleaning up from Rio Cacao to Cabo Matapalo. The cleaning was in the morning and we finished around noon, then we went to Rio Piro School for a lunch for all who participated, and entertainment with soccer games in the afternoon.
