Happy Earth Day everyone! For Earth Day at Lapa Rios, we made a “commitment circle” of footprints. Our staff wrote down how they will lighten their personal footprint on the environment. Promises range from planting trees, using the car/motorcycle less, using less water at home and many more.
For our guests, we have a special "plant a tree day" in which they can plant 2 trees for the price of one. During this activity, guests transplant a primary rainforest seedling to an area of secondary growth, thereby becoming an active participant in the Lapa Rios reforestation program.
Please join us on this special day, taking the time to reflect on what positive choices you can personally make to change our impact on Mother Earth.
