KIDS LOVE LOCAL CRAFTS

Jocksan is one of the local artisans, a craftsman who comes up once a week to show and sell his handiwork to our guests. Making his living out of selling his handcrafts in Lapa Rios and other lodges, Jocksan creates beautiful jewelry with materials like local seeds, mud, pearls, shells, bamboo and macramé. For our younger guests, it’s a treat because they have the opportunity to learn how to make simple but very nice bracelets. These kids were with us last week and each of them made about four bracelets for themselves and to take home to their friends as well. They learned, had a nice evening activity and ended up with a souvenir too, quite a successful night!
