Last week we had so many of our guests interested in the crafts that the artisans bring on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to Lapa Rios restaurant.
On March 20th, the local artisan Joksan taught young Wolfy Neukomm how to weave. He was really excited because he did his own bracelet! You can see him in the picture learning from Joksan.
That same day we also had with us Emily Savage. She is a very interesting lady that learnes how to weave in Chile. She also shared with Joksan some of her abilities. It was very nice to see how many people got involved with the activity that night; learning and teaching each others.
We encourage our guests to learn more about the local culture through this kind of activities!
