5 leaves again!

Long due we finally received our re-evaluation by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute. Since 2003 Lapa Rios was one of only 2 hotels in Costa Rica with the maximum distinction of 5 leaves.

We have been preparing ourselves for almost 2 years now to keep all 5 of them. You can imagine the joy and pride we felt when we resulted to still be one of the most ecological resorts of this beautiful country. One of our loyal receptionists Eusebio Martinez, on behalf of the Lapa Rios staff, had the honour to go to the Awarding Ceremony and receive the certificate by our president, Oscar Arias. It feels great to be awarded for the efforts we make towards conservation, education and local community.
