Lapa Rios Celebrates Las Fiestas de San Juan Bautista

Lapa Rios guests attended the Fiestas of San Juan Bautista in Puerto Jimenez. These fiestas, held every year in June, are held in honor of the saint who baptized Jesus Christ. Every pueblo (town) in Costa Rica chooses a saint from the Catholic Church to represent their identity, organizing different events and activities based on their chosen individual.
